Building Belonging: Bringing Pauli Murray Home

Together, we are activating the Center as a space enlivened by action, a place where stories from historically marginalized communities are shared, heard, and valued. A place where we can all build belonging.

As we embark on our second decade, your support makes it possible for us to open Pauli Murray’s childhood home to the public, begin work on the adjacent Welcome and Education Center, develop thoughtful K-12 curricula for generations of new learners, deepen our work with faith communities, and support up-and-coming firebrands through our summer internship program.

At the Pauli Murray Center, we embrace our collective past and present – with all its complexity, contradictions, pain, and beauty – and work toward a future of healing and hope.
